Beef tallow is the rendered fat from cows — and it's an ancient, time-tested skincare ingredient that’s incredibly rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, as well as essential fatty acids that closely resemble the structure of our own skin. We carefully render our grass-fed, pasture-raised halal suet in-house, using a gentle triple-filtration process to ensure exceptional purity and quality. Every batch is thoughtfully prepared to deliver clean, deeply nourishing skincare you can trust

As mentioned in the Hadith by the Prophet ﷺ about the cow:  

«وَسَمْنُهَا دَوَاءٌ» “Its fat is a medicine.” [Sunan Abi Dawood 3785]

To maintain its texture and quality, store your cream in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally below 24 °C.

Exposure to heat may cause it to melt — this is completely natural and expected with pure, preservative-free formulations.

Because our tallow creams are made with 100% natural ingredients and no artificial stabilisers, they may soften or melt in warm environments.

If this happens, simply place the jar in a cooler spot and allow it to firm back up— the texture might change slightly, but the effectiveness and benefits remain exactly the same.

Our tallow is carefully rendered and purified multiple times to remove impurities that cause strong or unpleasant odours. In most of our balms, any remaining natural scent is beautifully balanced with essential oils, so you won’t smell beef.

However, our Restore & Repair tallow cream for very sensitive skin is completely unscented by design. Because it contains no essential oils or fragrance, it may retain a very mild, natural tallow scent. This is normal and a sign of a truly pure, minimally processed product. The scent is subtle and fades quickly once applied.

We believe in full transparency — nothing is masked unnecessarily, and nothing is hidden.

Our products are carefully crafted to be gentle and suitable for sensitive skin. If you’re prone to irritation or have an underlying skin condition, we recommend trying our 'Restore & Repair' tallow cream. This blend is free from all essential oils, and contains only the most soothing ingredients, making it ideal for the most sensitive, delicate or reactive skin.

Many people with sensitive or easily irritated skin — including conditions like eczema, rosacea, or perioral dermatitis — have found our tallow-based products to be deeply soothing and supportive, with many noticing a real improvement over time.

As our formulations are made from beef tallow, we advise anyone with a known beef allergy or conditions such as alpha-gal syndrome to seek medical advice before use and to take extra care when introducing the product.

We also recommend carrying out a simple 24-hour patch test on a small area of skin (such as the inner forearm) before first use.

We use recyclable amber glass jars and minimal plastic, and are actively working to improve sustainability with every batch. Our goal is to care for both your skin and the Earth.
